Meaning: It is an economic and social phenomenon that occurs through the activities and relationships that tourists engage in during their travels, visits, and stays.
Tourist means: A person who travels from their place of residence to various parts of the country for sightseeing, recreation, visiting relatives or friends, attending meetings, participating in international conferences, studying and research, fulfilling religious obligations, sports, and other such purposes.
A person who travels to a place and stays there for no more than one year. Tourism development means: – The work carried out to ensure that the cultural assets, historical and natural resources of the woreda are preserved through the sustainable development of existing and new tourist destinations and that they provide economic and social benefits to the people.
Ashute Hot Spring water
Ashute Hot Spring is located in Ashute Burako Kebele, Silti Woreda, Silti Zone, 39 km from Warabe and 12 km from Qebete. The area around the hot spring is very flat and volcanic eruptions can be seen around it. The hot spring is providing healing services for various diseases, and the boiling water instantly cooks grains and eggs. People who seek healing in the hot spring come from the zone and from different places.
The Asano Tkel Stone
The Asano Tkel Stone is located in Silti Woreda, Silti Zone, 8 km from the capital city of Kebet to Warabe. The Tkel stones are more than 3 in number, and the size of the main Tkel stone is estimated to be 1 meter in circumference and 2 meters in height.
It is a place where human body parts such as eyes, mouth, hands, breasts, chest, stomach, and unreadable writing are carved, as well as images of knives or weapons/swords/etc. On the other places, images resembling tools are carved.

Blele Bolet is located in Silti Woreda, Ashute Burako Kebele, 12 km from Warabe 39, and near Ashute Hot Springs. The mineral is widely used as livestock feed, traditional food, and laundry detergent.The mineral is commonly called Blele Bolet, and is collected and sold in the form of loose soil, especially in the winter. It is collected by women and sold in the market. The price varies from 10-100 birr per fertilizer, depending on the distance from the place of production.
Ajra Hot Volcano
Ajra Hot Volcano is located in Ajra Kebele, 12 km from Qebet, in Silti Woreda. It is a natural phenomenon that has been erupting and re-emitting a mixture of sound and smell since 2000.Although the sound had been heard in the area for some time, the explosion first occurred in the sparsely populated pastureland around the residential villages at the time described above.
Floor in The Warkau
The Warkau In-Foot is located in the Silti Zone, Silti Woreda, Seda Berengo Kebele, on the southern edge of Lake Abay. It was built in 1969 by a person named Ato Hamid. The floor has natural and historical significance.The warka is divided into three levels and is G+2/. When we look at the condition of the floors, the first level is large enough to stop a horse, the first floor is where the person sits and can hold 15 people, and the last floor has a capacity to hold 5 people.
